In production, this section could show non-sensitive training progress and usage counts. It would not expose client-specific answers under Option A.
How BEVS Portal Lite would work
1. A preparer signs in to a real, hosted version of the portal. Each account is individually authenticated and has server-enforced access permissions.
2. The preparer asks guided questions in English or Spanish, without uploading documents or typing client identifiers into the portal.
3. Answers are held only in temporary browser memory, not sent to the portal backend. A rules-based template produces an editable English note using placeholders.
4. The preparer reviews the wording and copies it into BEVS Tax Software, where the real taxpayer information and official return review remain.
5. The BEVS administrator sees non-sensitive account activity, training progress, and aggregate usage only. Client interview answers cannot be retrieved by the admin because they are never saved to the server.
Before live deployment: Build real authentication/MFA, protected user accounts, audited server endpoints, restricted activity records, privacy-safe metrics, and security testing. This HTML file does not implement those controls. A local-only note generator reduces cloud exposure but cannot eliminate all confidentiality risks on shared devices.
